After checking out the "University Blue" at the end of last month, we're now taking our very first look at the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 "Photon Dust." Taking on the second generation AJ 1 CMFT, if you thought the first pair was comfortable wait until you hear about this one. Prepped and primed for the Spring season, read on to find out everything that you need to know including potential release information and pricing details.
While Air Jordan 1 purists generally have a problem with the CMFT, it's probably because they've never tried a pair on-feet before. Doing away with the classic leather construction, the photon dust opts for a mesh and suede construction that feels pretty premium. A cut-out Nike Swoosh shoots through the lateral and medial side walls, while the legendary winged basketball is printed around the barely grape collars. You'll also find Zoom Air branding on the tongue which hints at the technology used in the midsole underfoot. According to our sources, the unit is also crafted from Jordan Brand's newly-developed Formula 23 foam for comfort and cushioning that is unrivaled.
Releasing exclusively in women's sizes, the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 Photon Dust W is set to release in February 2023. Dropping at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select Jordan retailers both online and in-store, these will retail for $150. Check out our Jordan release calendar, and keep it locked to our Twitter and official Mobile App. If you're looking for a more in-depth breakdown of the Air Jordan 1 and upcoming releases, check out our Air Jordan 1 Buyers Guide and our Air Jordan 1 Release Dates Page.
