The Air Jordan 1 remains a timeless icon, serving as the foundation of Jordan Brand’s expansive catalog since its 1985 debut. While the original silhouette remains a staple, Jordan Brand has introduced new variants like the Zoom CMFT line, offering updated technology and comfort while staying true to the classic design. The Zoom CMFT 2 has quickly become a fan favorite, delivering enhanced cushioning with Zoom Air technology while experimenting with fresh colorways and design elements. For its latest iteration, Jordan Brand is dropping the You’re Welcome colorway—a clean, sophisticated mix of materials and colors that adds flair to the already-popular silhouette.
This women's-exclusive colorway blends synthetic leather and hairy suede across the upper. The sneaker features deep navy suede on the toebox and midfoot panels, contrasted by cream leather overlays on the mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel. A metallic red Swoosh on the midfoot and matching red laces add a striking pop of color, while the aqua-green canvas collar brings a touch of vibrancy. The collar overlay is finished with a silver Jordan Wings logo, maintaining the heritage elements of the AJ1 while introducing fresh updates. Inside, the insole displays a You're Welcome graphic alongside Jumpman branding. Underfoot, the Zoom Air-cushioned midsole is dressed in cream with tan stitching, while a tan rubber outsole completes the look, ensuring comfort and traction.
The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 You're Welcome W is set to release on August 28, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
