If you’re an AJ 1 purist who won’t even entertain the idea of the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT, we have to tell you that you’re honestly missing out. While the Jordan 1 is a pretty comfortable sneaker in its own right, the CMFT completely elevates this to another level. Interested? Giving us some very subtle “Panda” vibes, while most Zoom CMFT models drop the classic leather construction in favor of more unconventional material choices, this particular colorway goes back to basics. Working on top of a light smoke grey leather base, the Swoosh has been cut out to reveal a stealthy layer underneath. This is complemented by black suede panels that wrap around the rest of the sneaker, and a nylon tongue that’s finished off with exposed foam. Speaking of which, “Zoom Air” branding here nods to the newly-reworked Air midsole that’s even more comfortable, and to round it all off, the legendary winged basketball emblem is finely stamped onto the collar, finalizing the clean cut design.
The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT Black Light Smoke Grey is set to release in Holiday 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both online and in-store.
