Dating back to 1985, the Air Jordan 1 is arguably the sneaker that gave birth to the sneaker culture we see today. With this over 35 years old design remaining essentially the same, the comfort of the silhouette is somewhat lacking, giving way to the AJ1 Zoom CMFT, a modern upgrade to the classic model. Images have just emerged of the latest colorway in the CMFT line, one that somewhat borrows from the upcoming Air Jordan 7 "Citrus," the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT "Citrus."
Taking on a mix of leather and suede throughout its upper, the silhouette gets an almost all-black look from head to toe. For a pop of color, the accent stitching amongst the overlays and underlays comes in a vibrant citrus orange, also present on the Jordan Wings logo placed along the collar. A Zoom Air tongue tag gets the all too familiar bred color scheme, complimenting the red exposed foam from the collar and tongue lining. The famous Swoosh makes an appearance courtesy of a cutout revealing black suede below the leather midfoot panel. Underfoot, the look is complete with a white Zoom Air cushioned midsole paired with a black and citrus orange rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT Citrus is slated to release in 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
