Custom embroidery is an easy way to add a personal flair to any garment. Bengablenits is one example of a brand that took one-of-a-kind embroidery to vintage Nike sweatshirts and created custom pieces while upcycling original, vintage Nike pieces. Nike and Jordan Brand have incorporated embroidery in a more handmade style into their apparel and footwear with GRs and special collections alike. The addition of flowers, thorny vines, and green foliage finds itself on an Air Jordan 1 Low.
Black toe color-blocking is the move here, with a texture switch up to black suede for the main toe-box and eyelet overlay. Green tumbled leather on the heel of the sneaker is accompanied by the white smooth leather quarter panel with a black Nike Swoosh cutting through. The biggest feature is the vine and flower embroidery that snakes its way from the heel of the sneaker, wrapping itself around the black Swoosh. Hibiscus-like flower blossoms and flower buds are embroidered to sprout from the vines, with white and pink petaled flowers stitched behind the Swoosh, above the Swoosh, and inside the midsole. A standard tongue with a green Jumpman logo is secured by white flat laces. The base of a white midsole and black outsole keeps this pair grounded.
