Original Air Jordan colorways still reign supreme even decades after their first release. Regarding the Jordan 1, Jordan Brand has reserved 1:1 retros of OG renditions for the ‘85 cut but still offers some close options on the low-cut variant. This practice is true with an all-new Bred Twist variant on the AJ1 Low, expected to launch in the same season as the Jordan 1 High ‘85 Bred.
Classic Bred colorblocking is featured here on this leather and nylon AJ1 Low, with varsity red shades hitting the toebox, Swoosh, and heel overlay. Hits of black on the mudguard, eyestays, midfoot panel, tongue, and collar ground the sneaker, while more pops of red are located on the Jumpman atop the tongue and insole. However, unlike the standard Bred colorway, the Jordan Wings logo (embroidered on the heel of this non-OG cut) comes in white. Underfoot, the sneaker comes complete with a white rubber midsole and a black rubber outsole, switching from the usual red finish on other Bred colorways.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Bred Twist releases in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is set at $115 and $90, respectively.
