Jordan Brand Brings Us on a Picnic With the Air Jordan 1 Silhouette
Throughout the last few years, Jordan Brand has pulled back on the thematic packs for the adults. However, the Jumpman brings us through the fast food drive-thru and a picnic with its latest collection of Air Jordan 1 colorways.
Beginning with the fast food order—a cheeseburger, medium extra-crispy fries, and a strawberry milkshake topped with whipped cream—these three items are creatively reflected across the Air Jordan 1 Low and Air Jordan 1 Mid. The strawberry milkshake takes the form of the AJ 1 Low, swirling together strawberry pink hues alongside whipped cream-shaded panels. At the same time, the French fry pair (exclusively available in GS sizing) comes in yellow-shaded AJ 1 Mid. Textured panels, suede overlays, and a metallic crinkle-cut Swoosh bring the side item to life.
Finally, the fast food order is complete with a cheeseburger. Drippy cheese on the Swoosh and tongue tag, green lettuce paneling, and sesame seed perforations on the toebox line up with the ketchup red lining and brown bun/burger shades to convey the cheeseburger theme. Inside all three sneakers are the receipts for this order.
Alongside these three pairs is a kids’ exclusive Peanut Butter & Jelly colorway of the AJ 1 Mid (which will also be carried on an upcoming Air Jordan 5). Jelly drips from the Swoosh logo, while the base layer comes in the shade of white bread. Final details include the peanut butter hues of the overlays, a white Wings logo on the collar, and a speckled jelly midsole with a contrasting rubber outsole.
