Although it is often considered the “black sheep” of the Jordan 1 family, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has become an integral part of Jordan Brand’s lineup. Previews of pairs coming in early 2025 have been making their way online over the last few months, including the kids’ exclusive X-ray pair and a Black Metallic-inspired colorway. Adding to the list is a new earth-tone colorway featuring brown, khaki, and black hues.
While the color scheme remains in the realm of neutral earth tones, the material makeup of this AJ1 Mid helps it stand out from your typical release. Fuzzy suede details hit the mudguard, eyestay, and heel, with the first two panels seeing a light khaki hue and the heel getting a darker tan finish. This same dark tan is applied to the smooth leather along the toebox and midfoot panel, while the nylon tongue continues this shade above.

Stark contrasts come in black laces, a black leather Swoosh, and a black leather collar overlay, the latter hosting a brown Jordan Wings logo. More of this brown hue is applied to the base of the collar and onto the Jumpman logo along the tongue tag. The rubber midsole below features a tonal tan finish paired with a brown rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Khaki Black will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $135.
