Next year, Jordan Brand is celebrating its 40th Anniversary as the lineage of the Air Jordan lineup began with the Air Jordan 1 in 1985. With this milestone, the brand is set to bring back multiple classic colorways on the high-top version of the AJ 1 High, including the UNC (in Reimagined form) and Bred (in the ‘85 cut). Some similar versions of these colorways are also making their way to the Air Jordan 1 Low, as alongside a Bred Twist colorway, the AJ 1 Low is getting a Dark Powder Blue color scheme.
Similar in shade and color blocking to the UNC Air Jordan 1 High, changes are made to this new low-top iteration. We still see dark powder blue shades land on the mudguard, eyestays, Swoosh, and heel overlays, with the collar on this pair also coming in the blue hue. White lands on the toebox, midfoot, and tongue, accented by the blue lace set and Jumpman logo. Back on the heel, the Jordan Wings logo gets embroidered in white. While the changes have been minimal, things drastically differ in the sole unit. A white rubber midsole remains, but the outsole below comes in a gum light brown color.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Dark Powder Blue Gum W will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115.
