The Kid's Exclusive Jordan 1 Low Just Skate Is Coming Soon
Updated on •PublishedKids' sneakers are often more playful takes compared to their adult-only counterparts. This holds for Jordan Brand as we’ve seen plenty of kid-friendly releases, like the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “Hide N’ Sneak.” For the AJ 1 Low, the model had recently appeared in a fire-Swoosh-laden “Born To Fly” colorway with a new “Just Skate” rendition taking similar design cues.
Seen here in an all-leather upper, the model features hits of cream/white with accenting university blue shades seen throughout. This blue hue takes over the toebox, Jordan branding, and sockliner, while all panels (minus the collar’s creamy hit) take on a stark white finish. Along the midfoot, the Swoosh logo gets covered in a blue flame graphic on the lateral side, while the medial side features a solid university blue Swoosh. Although this medial side forgoes the custom graphic, there are unique details like “Born To Fly” text and skate-friendly graphics in a grey hue. Back on the heel, the Jordan Wings logo appears drawn on the upper in university blue. Finishing the custom graphics are the nods to skateboarding on the reverse of the tongue, with the left sneaker showcasing an on-fire skateboard and the right hosting a book titled “Just Skate.” Rounding out the design is the sail midsole paired with a grey rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Just Skate GS will be released in 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in grade school sizing, the retail price is currently TBA.
