While Michael Jordan notoriously had his quarrels with the Boston Celtics during his playing days, it seems the former Chicago Bull is open to embracing green shades on his sneakers through Jordan Brand. With upcoming 2023 releases like the Air Jordan 1 High “Celtics” or the Air Jordan 3 “Lucky Green,” yet another release is getting the green treatment as seen on the Air Jordan 1 Low “Lucky Green Aquatone."
Taking on an all-leather build, the sneaker comes to us in shades of its namesake as lucky green takes over the mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel overlay, while the toebox and quarter panel are covered in white. Tonal green laces run up a white mesh tongue towards our first accenting hit of aquatone on the embroidered Jumpman atop the tongue. Along the midfoot, the Nike Swoosh runs back towards the heel and its Jordan Wings logo, both of which come in the aforementioned aquatone shade. Rounding out the look is the white AJ 1 midsole paired with a green rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Lucky Green Aquatone W is slated to April 11th, 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
