Jordan Brand has sponsored multiple streetball tournaments worldwide, the most well-known being Quai54 and Dongdan. Each of the two international tournaments in Paris and Beijing, respectively, receives special Jordan sneakers each year to commemorate the event. We already got previews of some of the Quai54 releases, such as the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG and Flight Court, but now images of the Air Jordan 1 Low for the Dongdan tournament have appeared online.
Unlike previous color palettes used for the Dongdan tournament, which included bright, vibrant shades seen on the Air Jordan 37, Jordan Tatum 2, and Spizike Low and darker hues on the Air Jordan 5 Low, this AJ 1 Low opts for a neutral, earthy aesthetic. Cream and tan shades join forces across the leather, suede, and canvas construction, placing cream leather on the mudguard, eyelets, midfoot, and collar. Light tan suede is present on the toebox and heel, with a darker tan shade utilized on the Swoosh logo on the midfoot.

More cream is found on the lace set, while a light tan on the canvas tongue allows the black Jumpman and earthy Dongdan logos to shine. More references to the tournament are found on the inside of the tongue, which feature black tags reading “In One’s Element, Beijing, China” in both English and Chinese on the left and right sneaker, and the tournament’s logo on the left heel tab. Finishing the sneaker is the Air Jordan Wings logo embroidered in olive on the right shoe and a tonal cream midsole and gum outsole on both pairs.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Dongdan will release in Summer 2025 exclusively in overseas markets, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
