The Supreme x Nate Lowman x Vans Grosso Mid Collection is Finally Releasing

Supreme is no stranger to controversy. The NYC-based streetwear titan has dealt with pushback on designs over its decades-long history. One of their more recent controversial projects, a three-way collab with Nate Lowman and Vans on the Grosso Mid sneaker, was canceled in 2022 due to a shooting right ahead of the bullet-hole-covered shoes' release. However, three years later, the pairs are finally getting a release (albeit exclusively in Japan).
The mid-cut silhouette features a clean canvas and suede construction, utilizing classic Vans colorblocking and design details. Tonal white stitching runs across the canvas paneling and on the edges of the suede eyelets, while the iconic Jazz stripe on the midfoot comes in a contrasting shade on the Red and White colorways. The Black pair's silhouette is covered in a single hue, though the stitching and branding details come in white.
Logos for Supreme aren’t visible on the upper, which is a bit out of the norm for the label. Instead, Vans logos are placed normally throughout. Supreme does make its presence known on the reverse side of the tongue tag, and, of course, through the bullet-hole graphics that come courtesy of pop artist Nate Lowman.
The Supreme x Nate Lowman x Vans Grosso Mid Collection will release on April 26, 2025, exclusively in Japan at Lowman’s This Neighborhood's Changed exhibition.
