This Women's Air Jordan 1 Low Gets A Pink Velvet Makeover

With 2022 being Nike’s 50th Anniversary, their brands have concocted an idea for what the next half-century will bring for them, the next 50 are for her. This includes plenty of women’s exclusive releases, such as the upcoming Bephies Beauty Supply x Air Jordan 7 Retro, though their inline product offerings will continue to expand to include more women-focused colorways. Taking this into account, the Air Jordan 1 Low SE "Pink Velvet" only makes sense.

Forgoing its typical leather or suede construction, the entire upper dons pink velvet from heel to toe. Working from the vamp up you’ll find a tonal pink mesh tongue with matching laces getting the velvet treatment as well, leading to the embroidered Jumpman up top. Along the midfoot, the Nike Swoosh, while not coming in leather, keeps the pink theme going with its embroidered thread running back to the heel tab and its Wings Logo branding. Even the sockliner and insole stay pink, though the Jumpman graphic on the insole comes in white. Rounding out the look is the partially recycled white midsole and rust pink rubber outsole combo.

The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Pink Velvet W is slated to release during the 2022 holiday season through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming exclusively in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
