For the holiday season, many sneaker brands dress their most iconic sneakers in themed colorways that convey serious holiday vibes. For this year, Jordan Brand is bringing the Christmas spirit to the shoe that started it all, the Air Jordan 1 Low.
Christmas tree-like green shades on the leather mudguard, eyestays, collar, and heel, pair well with the black nubuck underlays found on the toebox and quarter panel. Stamped atop this aforementioned material is a geometric pattern in a darker black hue while the bright yellow laces atop the black mesh tongue offer a pop of color. Along the midfoot, a white Nike Swoosh runs back towards the yellow Jordan Wings logo embroidery, keeping in theme with the Christmas time shades. While many special edition kicks come with custom insole graphics, this holiday edition keeps things simple by sticking to a black/red color combo via the foam cushioning and Jumpman logo respectively. Rounding out the design is a white AJ 1 midsole paired with a gum rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Christmas is set to release during the Holiday 2022 season through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is set at $120 and $95 respectively.
