Even with expertly crafted colorways, many sneakerheads look to customizers to add a unique look to their wardrobe. In response to this, Jordan Brand and Nike have both released sneakers that come with a DIY aesthetic out of the box, like the upcoming AJ 1 Low UNC Grey, to grab hop on this trend. Sticking with the AJ 1 Low, a brand new colorway of the Craft variant has just emerged in "Obsidian."
A collage of materials, including ballistic mesh, patent leather, smooth leather, and suede take over the sneaker in a mismatched variety with most of the paneling coming in shades of blue. Obsidian blue can be found on the patent leather toebox while the ballistic mesh on the mudguard and suede on the eyestay gets a French Blue makeover. The latter of the two shades also appears via the lace set, collar, and Nike Swoosh while a disruptive hit of grey lands on the upper part of the eyestays, stopping just before the exposed foam around the tongue and collar. Back on the heel, an exposed heel counter in grey hosts Jordan Wings logos in a deep blue hue, finishing the design of the upper. Rounding out the entire sneaker is a white AJ 1 midsole paired with a grey rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Craft Obsidian is set to release this Holiday 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store.
