While Michael Jordan’s “relationship” with the iconic Looney Tunes character Bugs Bunny has inspired plenty of “Hare” Jordan colorways, the latest iteration of the AJ 1 Low is an unofficial nod to the rabbit.
Crafted exclusively in grade school sizing, the Air Jordan 1 Low SE "Rabbit" features a white leather toebox and quarter panel, with grey suede on the mudguard and top portion of the eyestay. The bottom eyestay, collar, and heel are covered in grey faux fur, giving the sneaker a soft and cozy feel that mimics rabbit hair. The Swoosh and heel tab are the most eye-catching features of the sneaker, with the iconic logo embroidered in orange and extending to the heel’s carrot top. This detail adds to the rabbit theme of the sneaker and makes for a fun and playful addition (though it can be removed as it's attached via Velcro.) Underfoot, we see a white AJ 1 midsole paired with a green rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Low SE Rabbit GS will release this fall through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $95.
