Since its debut in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 has transcended its roots as Michael Jordan's first signature sneaker to become a cultural icon in its own right. This year, the Jordan 1 lineup is set to expand as Jordan Brand readies the Air Jordan 1 MM Low release. This release continues the Method of Make (MM) series, initially seen on the Jordan 1 MM High. The new low-top version, featuring a Lucky Green colorway, is a fresh addition that combines traditional elements with innovative design details.
Crafted with exceptional attention to detail, the upper of this Jordan 1 MM Low boasts a textured leather finish, offering a premium look and feel. This leather is complemented by added woven details on the eyestays and heel, reminiscent of Jacquemus's take on the Air Force 1, lending the sneaker a touch of artisanal elegance. Metallic Gold accents are tastefully applied, including a 3D mini Swoosh on the lateral midfoot, an Air Jordan metal tag on the tongue, and a metallic Jordan Wings logo, contrasting the lucky green shade. Interestingly, the sneaker's medial side omits branding, providing a clean and streamlined look. The design is completed with a green midsole and outsole, maintaining a cohesive color scheme throughout the sneaker.
The Air Jordan 1 MM Low Lucky Green W will release on April 1, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available exclusively in women's sizing, this sneaker will retail for $135.
