Jordan Brand’s foray into the golf world has seen multiple Air Jordan retro models retooled for the greens. However, one of the most radical changes we’ve seen was with a mule version of the Jordan 1 Golf, making the iconic model a lace-less slip-on. Colorways have included homages to OG colorways, including the Bred, UNC, and Royal, as well as a nod to MJ’s ugly sweater from a ‘90s McDonald’s commercial. Another OG AJ 1 colorway is translated into this golf mule as official Air Jordan 1 Golf Mule Shadow images have appeared.
An all-leather construction is present on this mule, with black leather landing on the mudguard, eyestays, midfoot panel, and tongue. Grey hues find a home on the perforated toebox, Swoosh, and align the heel overlay. More grey is found on the Jumpman Golf logo atop the tongue and footbed. With the sneaker forgoing laces and chopping off the collar and heel, we see no eyelet holes and an open back. Rounding out the design is the Jordan 1 midsole in white, retaining its Air tooling, paired with a black rubber outsole that comes updated with a spike-less golf-ready traction pattern.
The Air Jordan 1 Golf Mule Shadow releases October 4, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
