Made famous by the Air Jordan 7, “Bordeaux” has been a mainstay in the Air Jordan lineage since 1992. Here in 2021, Jordan Brand is set to give the classic Air Jordan 1 the wine-themed treatment. They draw inspiration from the “Midnight Navy” Air Jordan 1 Retro High CO.JP release from 2020. Sporting a similar look and feel, this pair replaces the midnight navy with bordeaux.
Coming in a bordeaux, white and metallic silver colorway, this Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG sports a full tumbled leather upper with white underlays and bordeaux overlays. A shiny metallic silver “Swoosh” adorns the sides while a jewel “Wings” logo can be found on the ankle. A nylon tongue with a stitched “Nike Air” woven label, white midsole and bordeaux colored outsole finish these AJ 1’s off.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Bordeaux” is set to release on November 20th, 2021. Look out for them at select Nike retailers in-store and online. Retail is set at the usual $170 in men’s sizes. They will also be available in gradeschool (GS) sizes for $130.
