The Air Jordan 1 has recently seen a noticeable dip in the previously unstoppable hype surrounding each release. Jordan Brand has been pulling back from the slew of colorways coming our way, dropping multiple styles from the release calendar, including the AJ 1 High OG Reimagined Black Toe in the Spring 2025 schedule. Come Summer 2025; we’re getting new colorways of the iconic sneaker with the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Rare Air joining the lineup.
This new Rare Air White Deep Royal Blue version of the Air Jordan 1 features a premium leather construction that pairs perfectly with its timeless design. Deep royal blue hues grace the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlays, while the toebox, midfoot panel, and collar overlay come in white. Black hits are located on the nylon tongue, and Swoosh, and the redesigned Wings logo is on the collar. On this version, the Air Jordan text is replaced with Nike Air. We see a neutral grey suede finish applied for the collar's base. More Nike branding is found via the tongue tag and insole. Rounding out the look is the muslin rubber midsole and a black rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Rare Air was originally set to release on February 1, 2025. After a delay, they will drop in April 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in full-family sizing, the retail price is $180 for men, with additional sizing for gradeschool, preschool, and toddlers at $140, $85, and $70, respectively.
