Though the AJ1 Low may not have a calling card like patent leather on the AJ 11 or elephant print on the Air Jordan 3, that hasn't stopped these materials and prints from making its way onto other Jordan 1 Lows. With an elephant print-covered Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG already having released, Jordan Brand is bringing us another pair with the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG "Black Elephant"
Taking design cues from Supreme's take on the Nike SB Dunk Low, the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG "Elephant Print" comes in black, muslin, tech grey, white, and sail. The sneaker features elephant print detailing via the overlays, paired to black leather on the underlays. More black can be seen via the rest of the upper. Finishing things out for this AJ 1 Low OG is a creamy white midsole sitting atop a solid black rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Black Elephant is set to release in Summer 2023. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men's, women's, and gradeschool sizing, retail is set at $140 and $120, respectively.
