Jordan Brand has been delivering exceptional makeovers of the Jordan 1 Low silhouette, drawing inspiration from the iconic colorways of its high-top counterpart. Elden Monitors and House of Heat first reported news of a brand-new Rust Pink AJ1 Low inspired by the ultra-limited Air Jordan 1 High Rust Pink that debuted exclusively at Art Basel in 2017. In an update, Sole Retriever can confirm that this low-top iteration has now been canceled.
The Jordan 1 Low OG Rust Pink features a classic combination of black, white, and pink hues that made the original so coveted. Black leather graces the mudguard, eyestays, and Swoosh, contrasting the rust pink leather that covers the heel and heel tab. Additional pink accents can be found on the Nike Air tag on the tongue, enhancing the sneaker's vibrant appeal. The upper is completed with a black sockliner and white leather on the toebox and midfoot panel, maintaining a clean and stylish look. Underfoot, a white midsole pairs seamlessly with a rust pink outsole, ensuring the shoe's cohesive and striking design.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Rust Pink was originally slated to be released in May 2025. However, Jordan Brand has canceled the release of the pair. This doesn’t rule out a release later in the future, but as of now, the pair is not releasing.
