The Air Jordan 11 Legend Blue Cleat Releases February 2025
PublishedEvery Holiday season, Jordan Brand blesses us with a retro release of the Air Jordan 11, with December 2024 playing host to a highly coveted colorway — Legend Blue. Originally dubbed Columbia, the white and blue colorway has maintained its legendary status as MJ wore the pair in the 1996 NBA All-Star game. Only two months after the standard version hit shelves, Jordan Brand is launching a football cleat version of the sneaker.
Unlike the version that just hit shelves, this football cleat Air Jordan 11 Legend Blue comes with a lower-cut patent leather, something that was once common in retros of the AJ11 but has since been removed in favor of the higher-cut of the OGs. Colorblocking remains the same as the OG, with white covering the patent leather mudguard, heel, and smooth leather base layer. Pops of legend blue appear on the embroidered Jumpman near the collar and the Jordan branding on the tongue.
Final details on the upper include a set of white rope laces, a white ballistic mesh tongue, Jordans number 23 on the heel tab, and black hits on the heel tab and sockliner. Down below, the midsole of the Jordan 11 is replaced with a cleated tooling setup, one for the football field (TD) and the other for the baseball diamond (MCS). The sole unit is identical to the one used on 2024’s Jordan 11 Gratitude cleat, though the cleated outsole here comes in an icy blue finish to stay in theme with the legend blue color palette.
The Air Jordan 11 Mid TD Cleat Legend Blue and the Air Jordan 11 Mid MCS Cleat Legend Blue will release on February 6, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $220. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
