Jordan Brand has given the kids plenty of playful options on some iconic Air Jordan silhouettes in 2022, from the “Kumquat” Jordan 3 earlier in the year to the upcoming “Messy Room” Jordan 4. These previously mentioned takes bring with them new color schemes, though the latest GS-exclusive pair, the Air Jordan 12 Retro “Floral,” adds flower embroidery atop a colorway similar to the “Royalty Taxi.”
Coming in its usual all-leather upper, black accenting details land on the mudguards, laces, and eyestays, while the paneled upper comes in a stark white appearance. Typical AJ 12 branding, from the Jumpman logo to the “Two” text on the tongue remains and comes in an accenting black shade while more colorful hits can be found back near the heel. This is where the colorway gets its name with the addition of floral embroidery similar to that of the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE “Basketball Blossom” (GS), though this pair features embroidery on the medial and lateral sides. Rounding out the look is the foam midsole and rubber outsole, both of which come in a black/white color scheme.
The Air Jordan 12 Retro Floral GS is slated to release on October 19th, 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Releasing in gradeschool, pre-school, and toddler sizing, the retail price is set at $150, $85, and $65 respectively.
