Even with their history deeply intertwined with performance basketball, Jordan Brand is constantly looking outside this realm both through their Air Jordan retro series or via lifestyle releases like the Jordan Granville Pro. While we’ve just got our first looks at the upcoming baseball cleat version of the Air Jordan 1 High, golf has been a primary focus when it comes to other sports as various models in the Air Jordan lineup have received golf-ready treatments. Just ahead of the launch of the Air Jordan 12 Retro Low Golf "Playoff," early images have surfaced of a golf-ready Air Jordan 12 Retro Low “Cherry.”
The iconic model and colorway remain true to the OG as the upper comes with a mixture of white tumbled leather across the majority of the upper and red faux snakeskin across its mudguard. Tonal white stitching details throughout the white tumbled leather creates a quilted-like appearance while accenting black hits are located on the “TWO3” and Jumpman logo placed along the tongue. The lace set continues this white theme while the uppermost eyelet gets a metallic silver makeover with more Jumpman branding visible. Contrasting these the two primary shades, more black hits can be found via the sockliner and the Jordan-branded pull tab on the heel while the entire design is rounded out by a golf-ready rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 12 Retro Low Golf Cherry is set to release this December 13th, 2022 via Nike and select Jordan Golf retailers. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
