Jordan Brand is set to release an exciting twist on an old favorite for the upcoming Summer 2024 season. Dubbed Red Taxi, this fresh Air Jordan 12 pays homage to the iconic Air Jordan 12 Taxi that was first seen on the feet of Michael Jordan in the 1996-1997 NBA season.
This Air Jordan 12 comes with an upper constructed out of white tumbled leather, set against a striking black textured leather mudguard. The timeless combination of black and white continues with black landing on the laces, sockliner, and pull tab. Deviating from the original Taxi palette, red highlights land on select details. These can be spotted on the Jordan branding adorning the tongue and the midfoot Jumpman panel. Rounding off the design is the classic white and black midsole and outsole.
The Air Jordan 12 Retro Red Taxi will release on May 25, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Offered in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $200, with GS, PS, and TD sizes priced at $160, $100, and $85, respectively.
