The Air Jordan 12 has always been celebrated for its striking design and basketball heritage, as it was one of the six models MJ wore when he won his championships. As we look towards Holiday 2024, Jordan Brand is set to add another chapter to the storied model's legacy with the release of the SoleFly x Air Jordan 12 Retro SP White Baroque Brown. This release is part of an extensive lineup with highly anticipated retros, such as the Jordan 3 Black Cement Reimagined.
With "SP" in its name indicating the pair is a “special project,” the pair will be an upgraded version of the AJ 12 with more premium materials, like the SoleFly x Air Jordan 8 Retro Mi Casa Es Su Casa. This new Jordan 12 features a crisp white upper that provides a clean canvas for rich baroque brown accents. These accents adorn the distinctive mudguard, which comes in a smooth leather finish as opposed to the traditional faux reptile skin. Additional baroque brown details are expected on the Jordan branding along the tongue, the sockliner, and the pull tab, creating a harmonious and sophisticated color scheme. SoleFly makes an appearance on the top portion of the heel's pull tab and on the text along the tongue, splitting "Sole" and "Fly" between the two shoes. The design is completed with a brown and white midsole that seamlessly blends with a tonal outsole, enhancing the overall aesthetic of this pair. Special packaging and additional details, like a canvas dust bag, round out the pair.
The SoleFly x Air Jordan 12 Retro SP White Baroque Brown will release on December 6, 2024, through SoleFly, Nike, SNKRS, and possibly select Jordan Brand retailers. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $225.
