The Year of the Dragon is almost upon us. As we celebrate the 2024 Chinese New Year, Nike and Jordan Brand are unleashing footwear collections tying in with the festivities. From the Jumpman side of things, we have seen the Air Jordan 1 Low in colorways for men, women, and kids, as well as the Air Jordan 38. We have a detailed look at the last pair from the collection, a women's exclusive AJ 2 Low. Alongside this pair, there are also two other versions of the AJ 2 Low CNY.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro Low CNY (W) comes in a similar makeup to other CNY pairs with gold and red accents on a sail base. Red hues trim the midfoot panel and are featured on the eyelets and metallic Wings logo. Across the upper, we see embroidered dragons in gold, symbolizing strength and prosperity, while black hits are present on the heel tab and sockliner. Underfoot sits a sail midsole paired with a red and green outsole. Limited to just 2,024 pairs, the inside of the tongue features a tag with the pairs number.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro Low CNY W is set to release on January 24, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing, retail is set at $165. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for the latest updates in the sneaker and streetwear world.
