Although some look at the Jordan 2 as the black sheep of the Jordan Brand family, the label continues to show love to MJ’s second signature sneaker. On top of a push for more AJ2s, women’s exclusive releases have also become a priority. These two priorities now merge with the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 2 Retro "White Crystal Mint Wolf Grey."
The official color scheme for this AJ2 features a blend of white, crystal mint, metallic red bronze, wolf grey, and sail. Resembling the Statue Of Liberty in a way, a white-based leather upper is highlighted by crystal mint accents and a grey overlay on the sides. Metallic Red Bronze is found via the Wings logo on the tongue and the Nike Air branding on the insoles and back heel. This gives off a patina-like vibe, especially on the tongue. Continuing on, a sail-colored plastic heel and midsole further the aged vibe, completed by a grey and mint solid rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro White Crystal Mint Wolf Grey W will release August 1st, 2023, via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store.
