When the Air Jordan 36 “Sunset” was first seen back in the beginning of the year, many people were quick to label it a “Year Of The Tiger” edition. While no special insignia was present on the aforementioned pair, it was easy to see why people associated the two. Fear not, before Jordan Brand bids adieu to the AJ 36 in favor of the all-new Air Jordan 37, a true “Year Of The Tiger” edition will be released.
Much like the “Sunset” edition, the Air Jordan 36 “Year Of The Tiger” features a multi-colored upper. You can see various shades throughout the Leno-weave upper, such as: laser orange, flash crimson, racer blue, and aurora green. A rainbow-like gradient fade can be seen on the rest of the upper, outside of the black detailing. More of rainbow vibes come into play, courtesy of the midsole, which sits atop a full translucent outsole with multiple colors underneath. Finishing things off for this pair and tying the theme altogether is the custom “Tiger” logo on the tongue.
The Air Jordan 36 GC Year Of The Tiger is set to release in June 2022. It will drop at Nike, via the SNKRS app, and select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $195. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
