Stepping into the spotlight is the latest iteration of Jordan Brand's premier performance basketball silhouette: the Air Jordan 38. Taking inspiration from the Air Jordan 8, the model now pays homage to one of the original colorways, Aqua.
The Air Jordan 38 Aqua is a contrasting textures and colors feast. Dominated by a sleek black upper, the sneaker presents a vibrant twist with the chenille tongue tag's aqua, red, and purple accents. The upper's monotony is further disrupted by a striking yellow sockliner that adds an energetic pop of color. A purple TPU element graces the heel, mirroring the midsole's hue. The lower half of the sneaker also boasts aqua TPU overlays near the toe and midfoot. Finishing the design is a semi-translucent clear rubber outsole, revealing yellow accents beneath its X-plate.
The Air Jordan 38 Aqua will release on December 7, 2023 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in men's and GS sizing, the retail price is set at $200 and $150, respectively.
