With the 2024-25 NBA season set to start in a few weeks, Jordan Brand will gear its athletes with the latest game shoe, the Air Jordan 39. Debuting in July, the Air Jordan 39 continues Michael Jordan's legacy on and off the court, striving to reclaim the best in performance. With the Sol, Lumiere, and A Ma Maniere's While You Were Sleeping colorways in the rearview, we now have an official look at what's next for the holiday season.
The Air Jordan 39 will see a boost in colorways released as we head into the year's final months. One pair in particular, the University edition, pays homage to MJ's alma mater, the University of North Carolina while honoring the players that followed. Coming in half blue and midnight navy, this pair features a light blue-based camouflage-like pattern adorning the upper. Half Blue accents further the UNC theme. Superior cushioning is found via the ZoomX foam and full-length Zoom Air unit. A full translucent rubber sole finishes off the design.
The Air Jordan 39 University is set to release on October 16, 2024. They will be available at Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $200. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
