Ever since news broke that Jordan Brand and Nike SB were coming together to make a skate ready version of the Air Jordan 4, many speculated the colorways that would be released. The first Jordan 4 x Nike SB in Pine Green didn't disappoint, becoming an instant hit for its increased comfortability and unique material selection. Coming off the hype of the release, sneaker leaker, xcsnkr, has revealed that the second Nike SB x Jordan 4 will be Blue Sapphire and White. Unfortunately, this rumor turned out to be false.
Similar to the Pine Green colorway, the Jordan 4 x Nike SB Blue Sapphire is expected to follow the same skateboard ready design with a more streamlined shape resembling that of the original 1989 Jordan 4, rubber wings, and removed Air Unit in the sneaker's footbed. While construction may be the same, the upcoming Jordan 4 will likely not have the same colorblocking as the previous colorway.
The Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 Retro SP Blue Sapphire was rumored to release for Holiday 2023 but unfortunately, they will not release and were never confirmed to. Coming in extended men's sizing, they retail price is set at $225. It is also likely to be a skate shop exclusive release and not be released via Jordan Brand retailers like the last release.
