First Look at the Air Jordan 4 Retro Michigan PE
Published
March Madness is in full swing, and today, a slate of Sweet 16 games will take place, including Ole Miss vs. Michigan State, Auburn vs. Michigan, and Houston vs. Purdue. Two of these schools are sponsored by Jordan Brand: Houston and Michigan. The latter is now finally getting its Air Jordan 4 Retro PE revealed.
Many other Jordan Brand-affiliated NCAA programs previously revealed their pairs, including UNC, Howard, Georgetown, and more, but Michigans might be the best. As is the case with the other PEs from this season, the pair takes direct inspiration from the Air Jordan 4 First Class PE, made in 2023 for WNBA athletes, as we see a premium suede finish in Michigan’s famous blue hue as well as pebbled leather panels on the mudguard, tongue, and heel tab.

Jumpman branding on the tongue tag, heel tab, and Michigan-branded golden hangtag all come in gold and feature an added diamond encrusted in the basketball MJ holds in the logo. Direct nods to Michigan are also found on the insole and the reverse of the tongue, featuring a patch with “Go Blue” branding. Finishing the sneaker is the navy and white Air Jordan 4 midsole and a white rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 4 Retro Michigan PE will not be released to the public, but expect to see a few players rock the pair in the tunnel both ahead and after the game tonight against Auburn.
