There are some sneakers that will go down in history as truly legendary, and the Air Jordan 4 Thunder is definitely one of them. First released back in 2006, when many sneakerheads weren’t even born yet, the Air Jordan 4 Retro Thunder is making a return in Summer 2023. If you’re as hyped as we are, make sure you read on to find out more.
If you can remember, the “Thunder” actually got a retro in 2012 in extremely limited quantities, so a comeback over a decade later shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise. This, coupled with the fact that the “Red Thunder” was recently revived, are all positive signs that Jordan Brand will indeed be bringing back the classic AJ 4. Done up entirely in all-black nubuck that’s extremely soft to the touch, “Tour Yellow” accenting hits the mesh paneling, eyelets, and Nike Air midsole underfoot. Just like the OG, the Jumpman insignia makes a cameo on the tongue and heel badge. All of this comes packed within the special “Cement Grey” shoe box that’s as iconic as they come.
Releasing in May 2023, the Air Jordan 4 Retro Thunder comes in a full-family size run. The Jordan 4 Thunder will retail for $210 in mens sizing, $150 for GS, $85 for PS, and for $65 in toddler sizing. Expected to launch at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers, prepare for one of the biggest Retros of 2023. Yep, that’s right, we’re already talking about next year’s releases.
