Jordan Brand has big plans for 2025 as it marks the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan line. The celebration is expected to be massive, with a lineup including classic retros and fresh new colorways. Among the anticipated releases are multiple colorways of the Air Jordan 5 Retro. On top of the rumored A Ma Maniere collab and the Black Metallic Reimagined, 2025 is rumored to feature a Sail Luminous Green colorway, according to Elden Monitors and House of Heat.
While details are still under wraps, a mock-up via House of Heat shows the Air Jordan 5 Retro Sail Luminous Green featuring a sail leather upper that covers the mudguard, toe, midfoot, collar, and heel. Anthracite hues complement this neutral base on the plastic cage at the midfoot and tongue. The dark tones continue on the tongue, creating a strong contrast with the luminous green accents that pop on the lace lock and Jumpman logo. The sockliner is also rendered in black, adding to the sleek, modern aesthetic. The design is finished with a black foam midsole, featuring a visible Air unit in the heel and luminous green accents on the shark teeth near the toe. Underfoot, a black and clear rubber outsole completes the look, providing durability and traction.
The Air Jordan 5 Retro Sail Luminous Green is rumored to release in Fall 2025 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $200.
