As Holiday 2024 approaches, Jordan Brand is set to enchant the younger audience with a fresh, exclusive rendition of the Air Jordan 7 Retro, dubbed Cobalt Bliss. The Air Jordan 7, a silhouette rich in basketball heritage and Michael Jordan's history, often flies under the radar compared to its counterparts. However, its distinctive design and Michael Jordan's achievements in them—like securing his second consecutive NBA championship in 1992—have cemented its place in sneaker lore. Alongside this AJ 7, Jordan Brand has big plans for the end of the year with retros of the Jordan 4 Retro Fear, Jordan 9 Retro Olive, and a new Jordan 6 Retro Bred slated on the lineup.
Designed exclusively for kids, this Air Jordan 7 is bathed in a soothing shade of cobalt bliss, enveloping the suede and nubuck upper. A two-tone look is present thanks to the difference in materials, as the cobalt shade on the suede overlay comes in a lighter hue compared to the nubuck base below. This lighter hue also lands on the lace set, tongue, collar, and pull tab. Underfoot sits a sail and cobalt blue midsole paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 7 Retro Cobalt Bliss GS will release on October 1, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Available in kids’ sizing, the GS pairs are priced at $150.
