The 30th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 8 is set to begin in 2023. However, Jordan Brand is kicking the celebration off a little earlier than expected. Going deep into the Nike Archives, JB has pulled out a unique unreleased kids sample of the Air Jordan 8, originally scheduled to drop in 1993. For late Fall 2022, this AJ 8 will finally see a retail release.
Dubbed the “Paprika” edition, this Air Jordan 8 Retro comes in paprika, black, white, and canyon gold. Staying true to the OG sample, the sneaker features a black suede overlays paired with white leather underlays. Paprika Red can be seen accenting the lining and midsole. In place of the classic chenille logo on the tongue, this pair sports the same alternate logo as seen on the samples. The brush stroke graphic on the plastic heel has also been altered, also seen on the bottom of the outsole.
The Air Jordan 8 Retro Paprika GS is set to release on September 23rd, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. Coming in kids sizes, retail is set at $150 for GS. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases. Looking for a full rundown on the Jordan 8 silhouette?
