Although we don’t often see many Jordan 9 releases, an uptick in pairs has dropped over the last year. However, many of these have been the low-top golf variant, which has popped up in several OG and new colorways. Following up on the White Black, University Blue, and Cool Grey renditions, Jordan Brand gives us another OG colorway with the Jordan 9 Golf Shadow.
Looking nearly identical to the OG AJ 9 colorway, this Shadow pair sees black and dark charcoal hues covering most of the sneaker. Dark charcoal suede runs along the mudguard back to the heel tab, resting below the smooth black leather that forms the top half of the upper. Stitching details create depth and form the iconic shape of the AJ 9’s upper. Further dark hues are located along the tongue and lace set, contrasted by the red Air Jordan tongue label. This shade of red spills over onto the sockliner and branding details on the heel, including the embroidered 23 and the globe logo. Underfoot sits the Air Jordan 9 sole unit in black and dark charcoal paired with a black rubber outsole that contains spiked traction for the green.
The Air Jordan 9 Golf Shadow will release on November 22, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $230.
