While we still await an Air Jordan 9 Retro release in 2022, Jordan Brand is planning on dropping another new iteration this holiday season. Both the “Particle Grey” and “Chile Red” Air Jordan 9 Retros were supposed to have been released but due to shipping delays, neither colorway has made it to market. Currently, the “Chile Red” pair will touch down in early May while the “Particle Grey” is now dropping in June. Adding to this list is an all-new Air Jordan 9 Retro currently being called “Fire Red Cool Grey.”
A part of Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2022 Retro Footwear lineup, the Air Jordan 9 Retro “Fire Red Cool Grey” comes in a clean white, fire red, and cool grey colorway. Similar in design to the classic “Flint” pair, this AJ 9 sports classic color-blocking, with a white-based leather upper and mesh tongue, paired with cool grey accents. Fire Red hits are seen via the branding throughout as well as the back heel pull tab. All of this is finished off by an all-white rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 9 Retro Fire Red Cool Grey was originally set to release on November 23rd, 2022. After a small delay, they will now release on December 13th. It will drop at Nike as well as select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, in-store and online. Coming in men’s and GS sizing, retail is set at $200 for men.
