To new school sneakerheads, the Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low might seem like an all-new model for 2023, but you and I both know that this silhouette actually debuted all the way back in 2002. Originally designed to be a skate-like version of the classic 1985 "Chicago," the original colorway was brought back at the end of last year. Now, Jordan Brand is ready to take the wraps off even more pairs, with the brand new Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low "Palomino" leading the charge.
After checking out the Air Jordan 1 Low, the Air Jordan 1 Mid, and the Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT 2 earlier this season, the ever-popular "Palomino" color scheme is officially coming to the Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low. Working on top of an earthy brown suede base, black nubuck panels wrap around the entire upper for a look that is sure to turn heads. Two white leather overlays shoot through the laterals and medials, with the former embossed with Jordan Brand's legendary winged basketball insignia. Shifting your focus down below, you'll find a Nike Air midsole that's made for both the half pipe and the hardcourt, finalizing the design.
The Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low Palomino is set to release sometime in Fall 2023 in men's sizing for $105. They will be available at Nike as well as at select Jordan Brand retailers worldwide, both online and in-store.
