The NYC-based retailer is no stranger to Saucony. The two brands have been working together for well over ten years. So it's only fitting that they link back up to celebrate a milestone year for one of Saucony’s most beloved silhouettes, the Shadow 6000.
Originally released in 1991, the Saucony Shadow 6000 was an upgrade of the classic Shadow model. Featuring enhanced support and stability which provided greater shock absorption and comfort for longer stretches. The sneaker also ditched the TPU heel support and replaced it with additional EVA cushioning. For its 30th Anniversary, ALIFE has applied their own unique touch to the modern-day classic.
Coming in “Multi-Color,” ALIFE’s Saucony Shadow 6000 draws inspiration from the MTA, the main source of public transportation in the New York City metropolitan area. The sneaker features a white-based upper composed of OG mesh and suede with 3M reflective detailing. Yellow, green, orange and red accents are finished off by a full gum rubber outsole. ALIFE branding can be found on the tongue tag and lateral toe cap with “New York” represented on the back heel tabs.
The ALIFE x Saucony Shadow 6000 is set to release on December 18th, 2021. It will launch at ALIFE as well as select Saucony retailers worldwide, both in-store and online. They will be available in men’s sizes and retail for $150. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on this release as it gets closer.
