A true rags to riches story, Anderson .Paak went from sleeping on friend's couches to being in the studio with some of the biggest artists in the world in a short few years. With his meteoric rise, Anderson has begun working in the movie industry as a director, a DJ at nightclubs, and now is getting his shot at designing through the skateboard-staple Vans. For their upcoming collaboration entitled “Vanderson,” .Paak gets to put his spin on footwear, apparel, and accessories.

On the footwear side of things, Anderson gets his very own silhouette dubbed the EPaak Sport, taking a classic Vans design and mashing it with paisley print all over the canvas upper, appearing in all-black. On this pair, various paisley details get embroidered in black all throughout, broken up by the white lace, heel tab, and “Apeshit” branded tongue tag. On the white insole, a Vanderson graphic sits just above classic Vans branding. Underfoot, a white midsole is matched to a red and white rubber outsole that features the phrase “Sick Vibes” split between the right and left pair respectively.

He also gets a crack at some staple Vans footwear, working on the Old Skool 36 and the Authentic. The Old Skool 36 gets an olive green corduroy with a classic Vans Sidestripe coming in white alongside eyestays and laces. The man himself, Anderson .Paak, replaces the normally branded tongue tag with a circular portrait of making an appearance. Paisley print is still featured, however, it is restricted to the sockliner and red insole featuring Vans and Vanderson co-branding. Underfoot, the same design present on the EPaak Sport rounds out the look.

Finally, The Vans Authentic gets a muted beige look with more muted tones of yellow and black paisley print running all throughout. Gold eyestays and white laces provide pop, while the sockliner and insole take on a brighter paisley look. As with the other two pairs, a Vans and Vanderson graphic is present, as well as the outsoles “Sick Vibes” text.

For apparel and accessories, Vanderson brings tie-dye short-sleeve tees with the Vanderson logo plastered alongside a tour bus and “Sick Vibes Tour 1976” text below. Alongside this, the jacket, bucket hat, and pants feature a paisley print similar to the sneakers as well as the Vanderson Robe.

The entire Anderson .Paak x Vans Vanderson Collection is set to release on June 24th, 2022 through Vans and select Vans retailers online and in-store. Coming in adults and kids sizing, pricing information is currently unavailable.
