When Andersson Bell and Asics last linked up, the duo came together to create a brand-new silhouette called the HN2-S PROTOBLAST that took inspiration from various films for each of the three colorways launched. Now for their third collaboration, Bell is bringing us into what he dubs the “Asics World,” a cartoon-like imagination land full of flowers and anthropomorphic creatures.
Shared across three Instagram posts, we don’t have detailed looks at the sneakers themselves but they do appear in cartoon drawings that give us a glimpse into what the duo has to offer. One image showcases a frog-like snail creature called “Frocto” who is seen holding a black/green pair of kicks while a creature called “Fissit-tattoos-fly” hangs around a tonal tan, orange, and green pair. The final offering in the collection is showcased with the “Connie Kayodi” plant, a fuschia-shaded sneaker mixed with black and orange hues on the sneaker. As of this writing, technical details and the model's name are currently unknown.
The Andersson Bell x ASICS World Collection is set to release on October 29th, 2022 in Korea through the Gyeongbokgung Store and The Hyundai Seoul Store while a worldwide release online will go down on October 31st, 2022 through Andersson Bell’s website. As of now, the sizing and pricing information is TBA.
