Asics is on a roll. After teaming up with fashion's finest such as A.P.C., Florence Tétier, KASSL Editions, and SHUSHU/TONG, to name a few, the Japanese sportswear brand is now celebrating a massive milestone with the launch of the Asics GEL-Lyte V "Multi-Color" Pack. Honoring the legendary silhouette's 30th anniversary, this is the Shigeyuki Mitsui-designed sneaker's most eye-catching makeover to date.
Taking on the fifth model in the GEL-Lyte line, this collection features two distinctive colorways that are unlike anything that we've seen before. With a unique mismatched design, the first pair comes with pink and blue tongues, while the second opts for a yellow and mint makeup. Both shoes work on top of a breathable mesh base and are overlaid with premium leather, nubuck, and suede panels, and thick rope laces tie everything together for a rugged vibe. Shifting your focus down below, the GEL midsole is covered in a camo-inspired print, and while one set is finished off with a healthy dose of gum rubber underneath, the other opts for a bold purple and blue combination instead.
Not much else is known about the Asics GEL-Lyte V Multi-Color Pack at this moment in time, but it's expected to release sometime in 2023 in men's sizes. Rumored to be dropping at Asics and select retailers online and in-store with a retail price yet TBA.
