Japanese retailer BEAMS works across the footwear industry, teaming up with heavy hitters and up-and-comers alike. While we just saw the retailer work with Reebok on the Instapump Fury and Crocs on a two-pack of clogs, BEAMS is now tackling a new project with Hoka on the Stinson EVO OG.
Hoka recently revived the silhouette, bringing back the brand's Y2K-esque silhouette that features rockered geometry for its tooling, a mesh upper with TPU overlays, and on this BEAMS collab, a quick lace setup. Across the base, we see a purple hue applied to the mesh, with the textile near the toe having a tonal purple finish. TPU overlays are placed in a wavy pattern running across the sneaker's profile, hosting eyelets for the black and purple quick laces. Pops of blue land along this lacing system and on the pull tab on the heel, while grey details appear on the tongue, toebox, and heel tab. Underfoot sits a chunky foam midsole with a primarily grey finish accented by purple and white accents and a tonal outsole.
The BEAMS exclusive Hoka Stinson EVO OG will release on November 8, 2024, through BEAMS online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
