The Hoka Project Transport Pack is Available Now
PublishedAlthough sneakerheads are still not thoroughly accustomed to rocking sneakers from Hoka, the label is making strides in fashionability. Recently, the footwear brand launched its first sneaker-loafer hybrid, the Hoka Speed Loafer, which sold out instantly across the board and now demands a premium price on the aftermarket. While not as viral or hot as the Speed Loafer, Hoka’s new Project Transport Pack aims to hit a similar market.
Though not exactly in the same realm as a sneaker-loafer, this pair adds utilitarian and fashion-centered details to the Hoka Transport model, a low-top model that Hoka conceived as an intersection between lifestyle and performance wear. Here, the humble silhouette gets covered in a ripstop zipper shroud that leans into fashion trends and protects the sneaker's interior from the elements. Beneath the shroud is the standard Transport tongue and lace set, featuring a quick lace setup for easy adjustments on the fly.
Of course, no Hoka sneaker is complete without an advanced and comfortable tooling setup. The same EVA foam midsole from the original Transport remains, taking on a tonal finish across the three launch colorways: Carbon Black, Stardust, and Deep Umber. Finally, a Vibram Ecostep Evo rubber outsole completes the silhouette.
The Hoka Project Transport Pack was released on February 2, 2025, and is available through Hoka and select retailers online and in-store. Offered in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
