Many sneakerheads are familiar with the early months of the new year being somewhat of a dry spell in terms of “hype” releases, however, February 2023 was an exception to this rule as plenty of brands brought forth some major heat for the 2nd month of the year. Coming out of left field, we saw MSCHF, the Brooklyn-based art collective, release the highly viral Big Red Boot to much fanfare. Many customers tried on release day and failed, however, the label put up a raffle for the pair on their mobile app in which many took a W.
When it comes to the brands we’ve come to know and love, Jordan brought forth two killer pairs of AJ 4s, the “Seafoam” and “Craft,” while collaborators like A Ma Maniere began the rollout for their latest capsule surrounded by the legendary AJ 12.
