Bryson DeChambeau, the professional golfer who’s mastered the art of social media, has just signed an endorsement deal with Reebok, marking the brand’s official return to the performance golf category. This long-term deal, which also includes DeChambeau’s LIV Golf team, Crushers GC, designates the company as “the official apparel and footwear sponsor” of both Bryson and his team.
Reebok's deal with DeChambeau is another step in the sportswear brand’s plans to reenter the performance sports category. This includes new performance basketball sneakers, deals with various athletes in the NFL and NBA, and now the world of golf. The partnership positions DeChambeau as the face of Reebok Golf, with plans to launch the new Nano Golf shoe and an apparel line in March 2025.
Reebok CEO Todd Krinsky emphasized the brand's intent to grow the game beyond its traditional audience, stating, “With a rich heritage in golf, we’re excited to make our return to the sport with a new approach to grow the game beyond tradition. Bryson has been a positive force in bringing golf to the forefront of sport culture, and we’re thrilled to continue the impact together and re-introduce Reebok Golf to a new athlete.”
“I’m proud to partner with Reebok to usher in the brand’s return to golf. When looking for a partner for Crushers GC, we wanted to find a brand that aligns with our vision for golf’s future and has the ability to increase visibility of the game around the world, and Reebok was the perfect fit,” said DeChambeau. “With a great legacy in disrupting sport culture, I’m excited to see what we can do together to push the sport of golf to new heights.”
As a key component of this deal, Crushers GC will sport Reebok gear, including polos, pants, and the forthcoming Nano Golf shoes, starting in the 2025 season. Fans can also look forward to purchasing official Crushers GC kits, available online and at LIV Golf events. The team, led by DeChambeau alongside notable players like Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri, has established itself as a dominant force in LIV Golf, boasting multiple team victories and a 2023 Team Championship title.
The partnership also aims to make golf more inclusive and appealing to younger, non-traditional players. DeChambeau and Reebok plan to roll out creative campaigns and consumer activations, focusing on accessible pricing and support for communities with limited exposure to the game. Their vision includes leveraging DeChambeau’s influence to introduce the sport to a broader audience, from aspiring golfers to fitness enthusiasts, with curated collections like “Bryson’s Picks” available now on Reebok’s website.
As fans await the March 2025 launch of new apparel and footwear for golf, they can catch a glimpse of what’s to come with DeChambeau sporting Reebok gear during his next match in Las Vegas on December 17.
